Are you a parent of a gamer? They’re pretty popular these days; no longer restricted to the realm of isolated, geeky boys.
As well as my work at St. John’s I record a weekly podcast about gaming. It is mostly light entertainment for people who enjoy games but sometimes we go into a bit of depth and discuss some more serious issues.
This week’s episode has been well received by some non-gamers so I thought I’d post a link to it here. In the episode we interview Dan Staines who is currently developing a game that on the premise that “games can teach moral expertise”. It’s a fascinating discussion and one I’d encourage you to listen to if you’re concerned (or interested) about the moral/immoral content of video games.
Have a listen. If you like you can subscribe to the podcast or share it with others 🙂
