The summer holidays have come to an end, it’s time to get things cranking for 2015. This Sunday (Feb 8) sees the return of our Sunday@6 services with all the youth friendly additions we flagged last year. These services are focused specifically on youth and young adults, the age group most commonly left out of church culture, and we’ll be gradually seeking to get better and better at connected with young people throughout the year. We hope this will be evident in the style of service we run but it’s also worth noting some extras outside of the actual service.
- There will be a dinner every second week at 5pm. We’ll start this Sunday and then have food the second and fourth Sunday of term. This is open to everyone but we hope that our Crave youth will embrace it the most as it’s a reminder of one of the best bits of Crave events – food and conversation.
- On the alternate weeks there will be youth group games from 5pm.
- Suggested pick up time is between 7:30 and 8pm.
We hope to get as many youth coming on Sunday’s as possible so that we can have a big mob of teenagers in attendance every week and build some momentum.
P.S. If you have not received a letter from me outlining the details of this year’s youth program in more detail, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll send one through.
