Hope the school holidays treated your families well. For the Crave team it was nice to have a couple of Friday nights free but at the same time we’ve been quite busy planning the rest of the year. Our church’s new mission, vision and strategy was approved during the holidays so all those draft proposals are now official action points. That means our youth ministry will see some substantial change over the next 12 months which I’ll try to communicate clearly about here on the parent blog. Short term however, things will look pretty much the same. Friday night Crave will continue until late November in pretty much the same format it has for the last few years. During that time we will run a Youth Alpha course which should be great, more on that in another post. This Friday will be mainly about catching up after the holidays and enjoying each other’s company over some food and games. We’ll talk to the youth about what they can expect at Crave for the rest of the year and how they can get involved. I’m really looking forward to this semester in that regard, there should be heaps of opportunities for our young people to be very active in what we do as a youth group, something that’s been a bit lacking in my time in charge.
Please remember that Camp Crave is on Sep 22-25. There will be a post about that in the next week or so with details on how to register and invite friends.
No questions for home this week as we don’t have an official teaching topic.
