The Future of our Assistant Youth Minister

Bel

Hi Parents,

Bel Wilson, who has served us so well over the last two years as Assistant Youth Minister and as a volunteer leader before that, recently announced that she will be moving on. Here’s what’s happening in her own words:

Hey Friends! If you haven’t heard the news already I’d like to announce that I’m going to be moving to Glen Waverley Anglican Church at the start of 2014 as I’ve received the position of Youth & Young Adults Pastor. God has blessed me with an amazing opportunity and I’m excited to see what’s coming!

This is sad, but not bad news. Bel has been seriously great for Crave Youth Group but this new job is a seriously great opportunity for her. She hasn’t left Diamo yet so there are two ways that you might like to contribute to giving her a great farewell.

  1. Come to her final service on 19th Jan at 6pm. Click here to view the Facebook event (login not needed).
  2. Contribute to her message book. We are getting together a bunch of kind goodbye messages and collating them into a booklet of some sort to give to Bel as a gift. If you’d like to write 50-200 words yourself please email it to kirk@stjohnsdc.org.au in the next week or so.

We wish Bel all the best in her exciting new role.

Kirk
