This Friday marks the start of term 4. We are entering a series called “Why Care?” It will go for most of the term and focus on the things God wants his people to care about and how caring about those things can bring meaning and purpose to our lives. As you are no doubt aware, teenagers often seem apathetic about, well, everything… except for sleep.. and food… (if it isn’t green)… so we may be facing an uphill battle but it’s a challenge we’re willing to take on 🙂
This week we will look at God’s heart and find that he cares deeply about his relationship with people – both individually and as a community – and that he does this without favoritism. We hope the message to the youth will be clear: “you are valued by God and people in general are of great value.”
