Sorry for the late blog post this week! We’ve had some technical errors. Stick with us though tonight’s youth is going to be great!
Community as a Spiritual Discipline? Can sound strange right. We’re taking a look at what community really means for us as Christians. We have tons of different versions of communities these days, sports, fitness, school groups, crafts, hobbies the list goes on but what does Community mean for us as Christians?
6:15 -9 pm at St. Johns
Food: Dinner provided
Community is a commitment sometimes, maybe take a look at ways in which we you’ve flourished from being apart of the community. It would be great to share about communities you’ve been apart of not just the joys but the challenges and how they’ve helped you grow. You could even ask about Crave Community itself, Find out some more about how you’re kids find being apart of Crave Youth.
What’s happening for the rest of term?
Parents of High Schoolers Night – May 31
We’d like to invite you to drop your kids off at Crave Youth Group and then join us at our first Parent Night of the year. Our Youth Minister will be presenting his research on how Facebook has impacted Youth Ministry in Melbourne. We hope that this will lead to a general discussion about parenting in the age of the internet that will encourage and equip you and your family. It’s also a great time to simply meet other parents and share your experiences, as well as hear a bit about what’s happening on Friday nights and at Camp Crave.
31st of May 2013, 6:15pm (for a 6:30 start) – 9pm
St. John’s, 61 Main St. Diamond Creek, Meeting Room (to your right as you enter the foyer).
We’ll provide some light snacks but also order pizza for those who’d like to have a full dinner (bring $5 if you’re taking the pizza option).
RSVP not required, just turn up, questions to Kirk on 9438 1264 or email@example.com
