Crave: The Book

The bible is arguably the most influential book ever written. I believe it is inspired by God and that it contains everything we need to know in order have a relationship with God. This Friday we’ll look at what the bible is and why it’s worth reading on a regular basis.

The Event:

  • May 3rd
  • 6:15 -9pm at St. Johns
  • Cost: $5
  • Food: Dinner provided

For Home:

The bible is not the easiest book to read (depending on which bit you’re in) and so sharing some experiencing understanding what’s written can be very valuable. Being thousands of years old, not every example or story will have an obvious link to the present so you might be able to a bit or research together to find out more.

What’s happening for the rest of term?

We’ve put together a simple flyer outlining what’s happening in term 2. Unfortunately we no longer have the budget to put together snazzy postcards but we can still pick up a printed version from our welcome desk on a Friday night. I’ve posted it here in PDF format – 2013 – Term 2. Most events have exactly the same details but there are a couple of exceptions mentioned in the flyer which I will also mention here on the blog as they approach.
